I've made a whole list of beast-man headcanons for the different races and I don't even have a design down yet so uh... I'd say we're at about the same level of brainrot lol

Also I know a good but about D&D if you need any help!

How in depth do people go for dungeon meshi OCs? I feel like I'm making a whole as DnD character over here-

#theyre a gnome beastman accidentally merged with a ferret-badger :)#they died trying to save the badger from a trap and they were resurrected by a passing healer #turns out not a lot of people know how beast-men are made and since they died in a dungeon their souls got intertwined like with Falin :)#they got sick for a while where their body tried to fight the beast soul but eventually they recovered #they also suck at magic bc i like subverting tropes >:)#also i made a dnd character sheet for them bc it was easier for me. theyre a ranger :)#i think its Normal to put too much thought into ocs in this fandom bc so many of us are neurodivergent lol #YES IM USIMG THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO INFODUMP ABT MY BLORBO #the most we know about beastmen afaik is in reference to the arena so theres a lot of room for speculation :)#so its cool to think of other ways they can fit into the world!#espescially since dunmeshi is so worldbuilding-focused!#that said I think lycanthropy would work well as an illness or virus #if you catch it quick you can get away with minor symptoms but if it goes untreated it leads to lifelong problems #it probably fills a similar ecological niche to changeling spores!#drive a wedge between communities and build paranoia. then spread.
